Giving to the School of Criminal Justice
Since its establishment more than 30 years ago, the Rutgers School of Criminal Justice has become one of the country’s premier criminal justice programs with cutting-edge research, expert faculty, and the ability to inform and contribute to public policy. These strengths create a unique learning environment where students can participate in sophisticated, multi-disciplinary research with some of the field’s leading academic minds. At the same time, students help to inform the public policy debate on such complex issues as terrorism, sentencing and racial profiling. As the school continues to grow, so does its need for research support. To date, numerous corporations, foundations, alumni and other individuals have helped to provide the resources that enable this work to continue. Yet more support is needed to enable faculty to continue pursuing their work, and to further expand the impact of their research on the local, regional, national and international levels.
