 FROM THE DIRECTOR

        Welcome to the Rutgers-Newark Higher Education Capital Improvement Fund Program web page. This web page has been set up to allow you to obtain information about the new Capital Improvement Projects for which the campus received funding in mid 2000. We are very grateful to the NJ legislature and the Rutgers Board of Governors for making available these much needed resources. We are excited about these projects because they will address many of the repairs and renovations that the Newark Campus is in dire need of. Additionally, some of the funding has been earmarked for program facilities improvements that will help many of the key academic and support departments on Campus.

This web site is organized by building. You can select a building to view the projects slated to be done there. We have also included the name of the Project Manager who is working on the project. Please feel free to contact our project managers or Janice Davey, Assistant Director, with any questions you may have on the current status of any project. We will be attempting to update the information on this web page on a quarterly basis. Where appropriate, we will update the pages with photographs demonstrating job progress, and, scheduling information for upcoming work where appropriate.
